Alltek SprayPlast (Tyrex)

DESCRIPTION

Primary plaster applied without smoothing for thorough preparation of plasterboard. Alltek SprayPlast is intended to mask the shadows of jointing tapes and, due to its hardness, creates a high quality finish for partition walls and plasterboard ceilings. Alltek SprayPlast is white with a matt velvety finish. Alltek Sprayplast is delivered in 112 l returnable or paperboard drums compatible with our Tyrex system.

USE

  • Primary interior plaster for walls and ceilings on plasterboard, exclusively for airless application.
  • Alltek SprayPlast spreads on application without skimming and can be top coated with all types of paint.
Typical spreadability 0.5 to 0.6 kg/m² per layer depending on smoothness of substrate.
Recommended thicknesses
  • Min. thickness: 0,3 mm
  • Max. thickness: 0,4 mm

  • Ease of use for very significantly higher application speed.
  • Excellent adhesive properties (IREF test report no. 08/2-104-L20).
  • Fire rating: A2-s1, d0 as per European standard EN 13501-1.
  • Classification: group III class 2 as per AFNOR NF T 36-005, in compliance with the standard AFNOR NF T 30-608

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

  • Returnable, stackable 112 l plastic drum with protective cover.
  • Shelf life is 9 months in unopened original packaging, protected from frost and extreme heat.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION

  • VOC content: < 8 g/l.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • Plasterboard.
  • Finishing on filling plaster.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.

Application tips:

  • The surfaces must be perfectly finished, sanded.
  • Stir before use if necessary.
  • All airless pumps, flow rate > 5 L (do not use filter) for perfect spreading.
  • Xtreme 60 pump system with 112 l drum (get our advice).
  • Airless nozzles size 23 to 27, depending on equipment used (follow the manufacturer’s advice).
  • Recommended pressure 220 bar, 3/8″ tube.
  • Apply a single regular and uniform layer.

Recommendations:

  • Ensure adequate ventilation to remove excess moisture and accelerate drying.
