DESCRIPTION

Alltek Joint 2010 is a ready mixed plaster.

USE

  • Alltekjoint 2010 is a plaster for filling joints between plasterboards with feathered edges.
  • It may also be used for finishing surfaces.
Typical spreadability 0.5 kg/m² of plasterboard wall, i.e. +/- 49 m² for a 25 kg bucket.
Recommended thicknesses
  • Min. thickness: 0,3 mm
  • Max. thickness: 3 mm

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • Plasterboard.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.
  • The plasterboard must be fixed and compliant with DTU 25-41.

Application tips:

  • Stir before use, if necessary.
  • Plaster over any screw heads.
  • Manual or machine application with a high pressure pump, with nozzle sizes 531 to 535.
  • Manual application with Bazooka or supplied by high pressure pump (APLA-TECH system) possible.
  • Manually plaster the feathered plasterboard section with Alltekjoint 2010, then press on the jointing tape with the same plaster. Fill the joint mechanically using a loaded Bazooka and press down the tape with a plastering knife.
  • After drying, skim once or twice manually or mechanically with the finishing attachments.
  • Sanding with grain size 100 to 150

Recommendations:

  • Applying Alltek Sprayplast equalizes differences in absorption between the paper covering of the plasterboard and the plaster. It reduces inequalities and visible surface variables when viewed at oblique angle.
