Alltek Aquafibre

DESCRIPTION

Alltek Aquafibre is a traditional antistatic, peelable cellulose-based coating for machine or manual application.

USE

  • Decorative coating for interiors, walls and ceilings on all standard substrates, with textured, stippled or brushed surfaces.
  • May be waxed.
Typical spreadability 2 to 3 kg/m² per layer depending on smoothness of substrate.
Packaging 25 kg plastic bucket.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Ready to use plaster
  • Paintable with pastel paints
  • Fire rating: A2-s1, d0 as per European standard EN 13501-1.
  • Classification: group III class 2 as per AFNOR NF T 36-005, in compliance with standard AFNOR NF T 30-608.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

  • 25 kg plastic bucket.
  • Shelf life is 1 year in unopened original packaging, protected from frost and extreme heat.

  • VOC content: < 1 g/l.
  • Indoor Air Emission Class

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • On powdery substrates, apply a fixative.
  • Plaster, gypsum blocks, plasterboard, cement rendering, old walls, old paintwork, grainy wood.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.

Application tips:

  • Stir before use if necessary.
  • Filling knife, trowel.
  • Can be applied with spraying machine, 4-6 or 8mm nozzles.

Recommendations:

  • Ensure adequate ventilation to remove excess moisture and accelerate drying.
