Alltek LG300

DESCRIPTION

Alltek LG300 is a ready-to-use grey filling plaster, for manual application. Lightweight, it is fast, easy and ergonomic to handle. Alltek LG300 is based on selected light mineral fillers, organic binders and additives.

USE

  • Ideal for filling holes and cracks up to 10 mm.
  • For finishing, can be applied to rough substrate for smoothing to obtain a uniform finish with very little shrinkage.
  • Can be used for touching up concrete formwork and screeds on ceilings.
Typical spreadability 1 litre/m² per mm of thickness.
Recommended thicknesses
  • Min. thickness: 1 mm
  • Max. thickness: 10 mm

  • 24 to 48 h on average, depending on application thickness, temperature, ventilation, humidity and substrate type. Sanding and recoating: after complete drying.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • More comfort, easier handling, greater coverage, smoother finish
  • No previous filling and therefore no wastage.
  • Fire rating: A2-s1, d0 as per European standard EN 13501-1.
  • Classification: group III class 2 as per the standard AFNOR NF T 30-005, in compliance with the standard AFNOR NF T 30-608

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

  • 10 litre plastic bucket.
  • Shelf life is 1 year in unopened original packaging, protected from frost and extreme heat.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • Application on all substrates: concrete, aerated concrete, mortar, plaster, gypsum blocks, plasterboard, cement, cinder blocks.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.

Application tips:

  • The plastered surfaces should be pre-glued before papering.
  • Conventional plaster knife or with flexible blade.
  • Plaster trowel.
  • Flexible “Biflex” trowel or similar
  • Sanding with grain size 100 to 150.

Recommendations:

  • Do not apply Alltek LG 300 to damp substrates.
  • It is recommended that a finish coat with Alltek LF50 or Alltek LM150 is applied before painting.
